We grew up in family-run hotels, side-hustled at boutique residences, and worked the night shift in places where everything was scribbled in a leather book. MSK Guestbook is what we wished those books could do.

Our story

From a leather book
to a living one.

In 2023, three of us — a hotelier, a designer and an engineer — sat in a Lisbon courtyard arguing about why hotel software felt like it was built for the back office, never the front desk. We sketched something different on a napkin: a guestbook for the digital age. One that knew who was at the door, who was on shift, and who was about to deliver the linens.

A year of late nights and a thousand front-desk visits later, MSK Guestbook is in the hands of 412 properties across 18 countries. It still feels like a guestbook. It just signs itself.

We’re a small team, and we like it that way. Every line of code, every shade of paper-white, every five-page flow — we sweat it. Hospitality deserves it.

2023

The Lisbon napkin

Three founders, one courtyard, one sketch. The first design system was a fountain pen and a guestbook.

2024

First five properties

Five boutique houses in Portugal and Morocco trial the alpha. The lobby gets noticeably quieter.

2025

Multi-property control

Estate plan ships. We onboard our first hotel group across four cities.

2026

The Mobile Edition

Native iOS and Android. Six languages. 412 properties. And just getting started.
